How do we get certification?

It is a long and meticulous procedure to obtain the certification in accordance with the standards of UNI EN ISO 22005/2008 and because of this, such certification gives our customers the real guaranty on the origin of our products as well as on the various phases of production and processing

The inspections and controls begin with the farming development stage of the product and then continue through all the subsequent stages of processing until the product in finished...shelf-ready. The kinds of seeds used, the growing methods used, the processing and storage facilities as well as the packaging and shipping of the finished product to consumer are the stages subject to control and review.

For us the process is an organizational effort whereby we commit to total transparency, honesty and commitment to quality. In our view, it is not sufficient to use the word "filiera" in promotional literature and labels without being in a position to truly guarantee it.

Our certifications

Trademarks - what they are and what they mean
The logo and labeling rules are an important part of the organic legislation. This logo is used at EU level to indicate the products coming from the World of Organic according to Reg. 834/2007. ICEA - Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification, one of the most important organizations in the sector in Italy and in Europe, is a consortium that controls and certifies companies that do business while respecting the environment, the dignity of workers and the rights of consumers.
The biological products certified on the grounds of Reg CE 834/2007, can be commercialised in the USA thanks to the agreement of equivalence, negotiated between the Europe and the United States of America. The USDA Organic logo identifies that the product is recognised as biological by the Federal Law of the United States.
The certification of traceability of food and agriculture supply chains, according to the international UNI EN ISO 22005:2008 certifies that the traceability of a specific product throughout all stages of the supply chain that led to its realization, both checked and documented, through the involvement of all the subjects of the same chain. The OU Kosher label - identifies and certifies products accepted by the Jewish community. The Orthodox Union is one of the most famous and renowned certification of kosher products, controlling every stage of production and affix its logo only on processes and company with excellent quality standards and respectful of the Jewish tradition. The IFS - International Food Standard is designed to facilitate the effective selection of food suppliers, based on their ability to provide safe products, in conformance with the specifications and requirements of the law. The Standard BRC - Global Standard for Food Safety was created in 1998 to ensure that the brand products are obtained according to well-defined quality standards and in compliance with the minimum requirements. BRC is one of the standards relating to food safety recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an international initiative, whose main purpose is to strengthen and promote food safety throughout the supply chain.
